The cat lives!
He has an overactive thyroid gland. I have put it down to him simply being an old codger - He was ill and I didn't take him to he vet.
I was wrong - his illness is very treatable and I feel like crap about not taking him sooner.
I still have a cat but I am minus £130.

Ah, glad to hear all is well. Re: the family deaths and illnesses, I feel your pain. Having had a fairly crappy last few days at a funeral and with generally bickering family members, it's a tough time of year to deal with it all. Think new year, new start. I'm gonna try that one anyway.
I hav eto admit the Pian from my fathers death has gone - it went the day of the funeral. A strange thing to say, I know, but the funeral was really good in its own way. Complete closure. Dealing with the estate is another matter though.
The father in law will get better but its a tough time at the moment.
As for families you just can't choose your relatives - some bickering in my family and some in Wifey's too.
Roll on spring.
Any news on a job yet?
Hurrah!
Funeral's are a good thing after the bad. Sorting out estates are not. They are just one big pain in the a**...
Hope nothing else has completed the set of 3 and that the cat is continuing to thrive.
Here visiting for first time from Enidd's ...
cheers

hello Belle and welcome.
thank you for visiting.
i hope blogging in 2008 will be more regular, but in the mean time, yes the cat is doing well and putting on weight (feeding 3 times a day helps too).
